A+ Information
Please remember that you will not be eligible for A+ benefits until you have graduated from high school with the following requirements.

Students may start earning A+ hours as early as their freshman year by participating in after-school tutoring, before-school tutoring, and special events. Students will need to fill out the necessary paperwork and complete the Tutoring Quiz in order to maintain eligibility for the A+ Program.
Requirements
- Enter into a written agreement with your high school prior to graduation.
- Attend an A+ designated high school for three years prior to graduation (does not have to be the same school for three years).
- Graduate with a GPA of 2.5 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Maintain at least 95% attendance for the four year period. The A+ program makes no distinction between excused and unexcused absences.
- Perform at least 50 hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring to other students in the district.
- Score Proficient or Advanced on the Algebra I End Of Course (EOC) Exam
- OR achieve a qualifying score on the Math component of the ACT test and graduate with the required GPA or higher.

- Maintain a record of good citizenship and avoid unlawful use of drugs and/or alcohol. Students will not be eligible for the A+ Program if they have received one or more of the following: two ISS infractions, one OSS infraction, or one expulsion.
- Register with the selective service, if required by law.
- Apply for non-payback scholarships by completing a FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid).
